About the site
Behind these cobalt-blue walls in Coyoacán, Frida Kahlo was born in 1907 and died in 1954. More than a gallery, the Blue House is a habitable self-portrait: here remain her easel facing the garden, her earthenware kitchen, the bed with a mirror where she began to paint, and the corsets and dresses locked away for half a century.
